Oddfellows Playhouse presents two performances of /Hamlet/, William Shakespeare’s most famous play, on October 3 & 4 at 7 pm. This timeless tragedy of revenge and madness features Oddfellows’ Producing Artistic Director Jeffery Allen in the title role and an all-star adult cast including Carolyn Kirsch, Jackie Coleman, Robert Resnikoff, David McCamish, Richard Kamins, Tony Palmieri, John Hall, and a special appearance by Middletown’s Mayor Sebastian Giuliano.

These performances are a benefit for Oddfellows Playhouse. Oddfellows was founded in 1975 as a community-based, multicultural theater program designed to include children from all backgrounds. Today it is Connecticut's largest and most active year-round youth theater, an independent, not-for-profit organization that annually serves nearly 2,000 young people, ages 2-20, with an innovative program designed for positive youth development. More than classes and productions, Oddfellows is concerned with the education and character development of young people, nurturing their skills in the performing arts and challenging them to grow as individuals in a supportive, noncompetitive environment. The young people are then able to use these skills to facilitate success in other aspects of their lives.

All performances of /Hamlet/ will be at Oddfellows Playhouse, 128 Washington Street, Middletown. The suggested donation is $15. For reservations or more information call Oddfellows Playhouse at (860) 347-6143.//
